2015 is drawing to a close and another year bites the dust. This year has been a whirlwind of emotions and lessons learned, but I guess when is it not? Every year makes you another year wiser.

This year I learned:

1.Some people feel as though promises are simply made to be broken. Sometimes the only person you can really count on is yourself and that is fine. I know that through 2015 I definitely learned who will be there for me always and who will let me down time and time again.

2.I learned that road trips, though exhausting, can be really enlightening experiences and make you closer to the person that trip is shared with. I made two cross country trips in 2015 to Portland and back to Florida and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life!

3.I learned toxic people need to be cut out of your life. There is no reason to have someone in your life who is going to bring you down every chance they get. You have to do what is best for you.

4. I learned that I have the best partner in crime ever with K, I knew this in the years before but every year I have with him, makes me understand how lucky I am to have someone by my side no matter what the circumstances are.

5. I learned that no matter how hard you pray, loss is just a part of the circle of life. People grow old and sick and they die and we have to learn to move past that and continue our lives they way they would have wanted us to.

6. I learned that there is truly nothing in this life that I cannot handle with the right people by my side, that I am stronger than I give myself credit for and that I am smarter than most people like to think.

7. I remembered that living on your own is the greatest thing ever. I think I am not meant to live with anyone other than K, no roommates, no family. Privacy is underrated.

8. I learned that I am ready for 2016 to make her grand entrance tonight and to put 2015 behind me. I am excited to see what this year brings us and how we will overcome struggles and how much fun we will have. I am excited to see where this blogging journey takes me and how much I will grow!

Goodbye 2015 it was nice and at times it sucked, but you were another year that molded me into who I am now. I had tons of fun this year and I hope next year will be just as great if not better!
